Mahindra Unveils BE 6 SPORTEQ: The Future of Electric SUVs

Jammu, 25 August 2026 — Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, celebrated the launch of its new BE 6 SPORTEQ electric SUV series at Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP today. Alongside this new range, Mahindra introduced two special editions: the sports-focused Formula E Freedom Edition and the Graphite Storm Launch Edition.

The model is available in twelve striking colour options, including four new additions: Rosso Impulso, Ruby Velvet, Graphite Storm, and Firestorm Orange Satin.

Notably, Mahindra’s Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) capabilities will allow existing BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S owners to enjoy the latest features through over-the-air updates starting January 2027. This approach positions Mahindra as a leader in offering ongoing vehicle enhancements.

Among exciting performance features, the SPORTEQ Freedom Edition promises accelerated performance with a 0-100 km/h time of just 6.44 seconds.
